Tree Tales:
Turn of the season

The idea for Tree Tales: Turn of the Season came from soemthing we hard a lot from our culture when it rained and you could see the sun at the same time. Further research (a quick google search) showed us that apparently a lot of cultures have almost similar sayings. Ofcourse character varies a bit but the general idea was similar. There were many sayings that were uniquely different as well but we decided to stick with what we knew.

In this short, a wolf named 'Akela', who supposedly is the first animal to visit this jungle, falls in love with the shear beauty and power of sun. It turns out the sun too falls for him. Their trials and tribulations take the earth to catastrophe but thanks to their undying love for each other, they figure out a way to get close together, which results in the first 'sunshower'.

We knew the film needed anthropromorphic characters. Thanks to the community again, we found some splendid resources. Working with low poly settings and set up was not tedious but helped us create more to the world in our little systems.

We had ton of fun working on this films, ofcourse with the pandemic, we had to get a bit creative. Immense thanks to everyone who worked on this film with their schedules, and being stuck at home but still helping through edits.
